Lisa Pedolsky is a clay artist who begins her making with a slab of clay. From this slab, she creates bowls, boxes, and bottles that she hopes the viewer will relate to in both form and design. Lisa’s interests in innovative design and fine craftsmanship, from mid-century modern furniture and household objects to African and Japanese textiles and traditional craft are reflected in her artwork. In looking at the body of her work, you will see the development of form and design. This bowl is a double walled vessel making it look quite substantial but actually fairly light weight.
