I met Lynn Smiser Bowers about ten years ago in Kansas City, Kansas. It was the first time that I had really looked at high fired porcelain work with lots of color and patterns. I found her artwork very interesting. Since that time, Lynn has moved but continues on the path of using images repetitively to help create new work – “repetition of the same form allows for new ideas”.
