A Bowl A Day – Texture, Years of Practice – Harlan House

Harlan house
I was introduced to Harlan’s porcelain work by Tony Clennell.  From the very first time, I looked at Harlan’s work, I am intrigued.  I love how he makes both his functional and sculptural work.  Harlan works only in porcelain.  He throws elegant forms on the potter’s wheel and hand-builds interesting pieces.  He is recognized as a Master Potter of Canada.  With more than 4 decades of pot making under his belt, he has spent even more time painting.
