Many of our artists love the outdoors. What they see while outside sparks imagery in their work.
Michelle Courier, acrylic painter, loves to drive across the United States stopping along the way to hike. She takes pictures along the way as reminders for future paintings. Michelle’s Winter Forest Series makes me think of walking through our Michigan forests on a sunny winter day. One of the most beautiful that I can imagine. Believe it or not, her winter paintings make me feel warm and smile at the beautiful snowy trails.
Recently, Michelle was named as one of the 100 Top Artists of the Midwest. She has been a featured artist in both Art Collector and The SouthWest Art Magazines. Michelle’s paintings can be found worldwide including, Japan, China, Germany, Italy and throughout collections in the United States. Her latest one women exhibition was featured in Lake Tahoe this past October.
