I finally got into my studio.  Moving an art business is much like moving your home’s possessions into another location.  Yikes!  What was I thinking!  Being in the studio is my happy place. It feels so good.   So, why did it take me so long to get in here?

Sunday, I played, making ceramic rocks for my own garden totems.  Today, I got several hand built tumblers started.  They will have my Lake Michigan beach sand glaze on the bottom thirds with my version of a sun or life circle on the side.  I am thinking a blue and orange shino and celadon glazes will be used.

What do you think?

Oh, are you writing more notes and mailing them the traditional way?  I find myself doing this to let friends and family have a tangible reminder that I am missing them.

Grand Haven Postcards by Bob Walma

If you need blank cards, we have sets available.  Both Christi Dreese and Bob Walma have nice handmade cards with lakeshore imagery.  Bob Walma has postcards available.  All of the them are nice enough to frame upon receipt. I have to mention that both Bob and Christi are full time artists living off their art forms.  Purchasing some of their cards, helps them put food on their tables.

Take good care, C2.
