Just Sayin’ Life: Food for Your Soul, 118

How are you?  Today, hopefully, I am sharing food for your soul and feeding your brain.  This week I found an architectural fairy tale.  Just sayin’ you are reading this correctly.  Learning about this hotel in Metz, France peeked my curiosity.  How did this architect come up with such an idea?  It looks like a mansion on top of a commercial building.  I think I might need to add it to my bucket list.  The hotel is open and accepting reservations.

This hotel was created by Philippe Starck.  Philippe’s love of ideas and his concern with defending the intelligence of usefulness – and the usefulness of intelligence. Starck was the first French man to be invited to the TED conferences (Technology, Entertainment & Design) alongside renowned participants including Bill Clinton and Richard Branson.

Inventor, creator, architect, designer, artistic director, Philippe Starck is certainly all of the above, but more than anything he is an honest man directly descended from the Renaissance artists.  I invite you to learn more about this interesting artist. (Yes, food for your brain.)

Have a good week making sure to feed your brain, body and soul.

Take care, Cyndi
