Looking back – St Croix River Pottery Tour
Earlier this year, I gave myself a gift of visiting my son and daughter-in-law on Mother’s Day weekend. The other part of the gift to myself was getting to visit several Minnesota potters during the St. Croix River Pottery Tour. If you have a chance to visit the Minneapolis area around this time of year, I highly recommend a wander to the various potter’s studios.
One of my favorite Vermont potters was there – Ikuzi Teraki of Romulus Craft. He and his wife, Jeanne Bisson, have been creating quiet lovely porcelain work for more than 30 years. It was wonderful to see their pottery in person again.
