No Whining in Grand Haven Last Night

Wine About Winter 2015

Wow!

No whining last night about the weather at

C2C in Grand Haven

Monte Nagler drove over from Farmington Hills.  He worked the crowd all evening, talking and showing visitors his coffee table photographic book titled, “Michigan”.  He reminded me of my dad, Jay Casemier,  or Ed Baas, a previous generation of good retailers in Grand Haven.

I couldn’t believe how many people were inside the gallery last night.  Only one accident, which was quickly resolved.  Everyone was happy, friendly, and having a great time.  Our musician, Dale Wicks, was a nice addition to the evening.  His music was “just right” for our “Wine About Winter” event.  Christi Dreese greeted and helped customers choose their wine glasses and number of tickets needed.  Brian poured our wine tastes.  Bob Walma helped where help was needed and took some pictures of the evening.

Dale did a nice job on such a busy evening.  We had lots of compliments regarding his music.  We will have him back later in the year.  We always have our musicians in the front window.  Dale was a good sport about the tight space.  He is tall and his head was almost touching the ceiling.

For all of us at C2C, we felt that the evening went well.  There were very few hiccups.  Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time organizing this event.  Great job!

On to the next event – Winterfest.

Always a party in Grand Haven.

Thank you, everyone.
