Natalie Blake is known for her jewel-toned carved vessels relating to rain, feathers, dune, and air. She works in porcelain throwing on the potter’s wheel, then carving, and hand-building her unique lids that are inspired by nature. Natalie also creates custom tiles that relate to her vessels. Her ceramic artwork can be found in homes, hospitals, offices and public installations across the United States. Natalie says about her art, “I love the ephemeral, upwards-pointing spikes of the lid. To me these objects feel like energy catchers, shooting energy out and pulling energy in. A fine art object awakens these subtle energies of the self so that we can connect to the truth.”
