Handmade Ceramic Beach Bowl – These vessels are one of a kind ceramic pieces by Cyndi Casemier. They are hand built porcelain open bowls. On the exterior,  you will see and feel Lake Michigan Beach Sand incorporated into the exterior glaze. Beach Glass found on Lake Michigan’s waterfront are attached to the bowl. On the inside, you will see an Asian Orange Shino Glaze meant to remind you of a glorious sunset. Each vessel is unique. Organic. They are wonderful on a dining room table, in an entryway, or even on a beautiful patio overlooking a lake or ocean.  The decoration is meant to make you think of the winter fencing that you see at the beach.

Cyndi Casemier is the owner of C2C Gallery and a potter. This artist is influenced by sand and wave movement, bark, and West Michigan’s tall lodge pole pines. Cyndi works in porcelain. It’s fine texture and white color allows for interesting glaze formulation.  She loves to “break the rules” with this fine clay body.  Her goal is to remind you of wonderful days at the beach or a simpler place in time with her small houses. Cyndi prefers textures and simple decoration in her clay forms.
