Description
Shoreline Moment Bowl III | Lake Michigan Ceramic Bowl with Beach Sand
This bowl is part of a group of forms that come from paying attention to what happens at the shoreline—especially the quieter moments when there’s no single focal point, just movement and surface.
The interior is finished in a soft blue glaze that shifts as it moves across the form. It’s not a flat color. It gathers and thins, creating variation that feels similar to water moving under changing light.
Along the rim, the glaze breaks and folds slightly. The edge isn’t uniform. It moves in and out, like the line where water meets sand.
The lower portion is finished with a glaze that includes Lake Michigan beach sand. It brings a subtle texture and weight to the piece—something you notice when you hold it. That material connection to the shoreline is always where the work begins.
The form is open and easy to use. It works well for serving, but also sits comfortably as a daily piece on a counter or table.
Each bowl is one of a kind.
The bowl shown here is the exact piece you will receive.
