Christi Dreese is a West Michigan artist offering original paintings and reproductions of originals. Her distinctive painting style radiates bright colors and joy. This artist’s paintings reflect the laid-back lakeshore lifestyle. You will find vibrant colorful landscapes; water and boats; unique flowers; and abstract paintings are brought to life. Christi makes some of her oil paints by mixing dry pigment with linseed or walnut oil. Because she mixes her own oil paint, she is able to control the quality of it. As a result, she has less fillers and the right amount of oil for her work. Christi loves the buttery texture she’s able to mix to the right consistency for her paintings.
Christi has received several awards for her artwork and participated in regional shows. Plus, a recipient of various awards from the Grand Rapids Regional Festival of Arts and Grand Haven’s Winterfest. Christi’s artwork can be found in numerous private and corporate art collections throughout the United States.
